Sharyn Lonsdale: Proving that a Crazy Life and Family Can Give You a Second Career
Home Page

After writing for a living for 15 years, karma has led me to a fabulous job in my own hometown, working at the Hermitage Artist Retreat on the beach. My pen is still for hire, just not as often as it had been.

In my other life, I am an emcee, stand-up comic, trivia hostess and public speaker. My first love is humor and making people laugh on paper and on stage, in small rooms at truck stops  and just about anywhere I can.  I'm a Leo, what can I say, I really have no choice. I have won several Humorous speech contests for Toastmasters International, with my teenage daughter being my primary source of material.

If you know me, don't you love this photo? It's not that old I swear. If you don't know me, I would love to know what errant Google path sent you here, so please sign my Guest Book.

Every Monday night at 6:30 p.m. I'm at Big Daddy's Burger Den at the Publix Plaza at US Business 41 in Venice across from the hospital.

This is live team trivia where you and your exceptionally brilliant friends and family show what you know. Or come alone and I'll find a team for you.

Questions on all topics: music, TV, sports, geography, current events, human behavior - you name it - you know it.

It's free to play and you could win gift certificates for Big Daddy's super yummy food!! You'll have fun I promise! email sharylons@msn.com to reserve a spot.
